UPDATED: APR 28, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy straw colour with creamy head. Evident aroma of ripe banana and cloves. Sweet and fruity, very estry with evident wheat malt character. Dries out towards a thinning finish. Remains a very drinkable summer beer. Has all the flavour I want in a hefeweizen, but the mouthfeel is perhaps somewhat bold.

Cloudy dark yellow with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, lots of banana, yeasty and cloves. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. A bit rough around the edges, which is unusual for a German Hefeweizen and not to my liking. 180811

Taste comprises toffee, banana, clove, light yeast esters, faint citric tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Classic hefe notes all round, decent enough.
