Aroma is citrus, slightly funky fruit and tea. The flavor is citrus, very mild tea, malts, slightly earthy and a mix of spices and very slight heat in the finish.

Visited Memphis and wanted to try a local ipa. A little weak on the aroma, initial flavor is dry centennial hops but the finish is metallic and alcohol powered. Mediocre ipa

Okay IPA, mostly bitter with a weak malt bill offering little to compensate for the pinecone hoppiness. Subtle grain and toast gets overpowered fairly quickly by the hops, but it all seems one-note, not much citrus or herbal pungency to pad the IBUs. Bitter fade. Eh.

Can from Total Wine. Pretty little number in the glass, with a deep orange body & nice mushy bone white cap. Its another entry in the bitter & throaty class of ipa: very little in way of hop shine (no citrus etc) & a sticky resin back end bitterness. The grains surface through in the middle, which is pretty rare in an ipa. I wonder if tweaking the sugars up a bit would make for a slightly more interesting ride. Regardless its a fun beer to drink/study.

Can. Golden color with foamy cream colored head. Piney and citrusy aroma. Bitter hop flavor with a mixture of pine and citrus notes. Lingering hoppy bitter finish. Pretty good.

Some pine, a little citrus. Pours hazy golden without much head or lacing. Not much here like across the Mississippi from Memphis on the Arkansas side. Tap at Broadway brewery on Nashville.
