Boom! The soft waters of Pilsen. Czech Republic birthed this classic style centuries ago & the waters from the Artesian wells in Memphis are perfect to create our own version today. Pow! This beer is made with german and American pilsner malt and is spiked with 50 lbs. of local wildflower honey. There are delicate aromas of sugar and clover wafting forth from this crisp, smooth Pale Lager. Shazam!

Light and crisp. A bit earthy with light sweetness, though the finish comes on dry. Probably the best pilsener I’ve had in quite a while.

5/28/2017 (12 fl oz can): Cereal grains, fresh bread, grassy hops, hay, and some floral notes in the aroma; hazy yellow color with a fluffy head of off-white foam; lightly sweet in the front, slight biscuit and cracker maltiness in the middle, floral hoppiness in the finish; medium light body, semi-crisp; quite good overall, refreshing, nice change of pace from all of the typical hops...

12oz can. Huh. Guess their are a lot of homers in TN. Pale yellow tan body. Frothy white head. Light bodied, highly sessionable. Not really that great of an example of the style, but certainly still drinkable stuff. Not off. Lightly bready, faintly hopped. Delicate. OK.

tried this, with dinner, the other night... smooth, tasty, crisp, with slight bitterness - a nice pilsner

BlackBeerPG (621) - Darien, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2017
Taste: crisp slight fruit citrus, lemongrass, hop bite. Fermented grain nose. Gold, clear, white head with a ringed lace. Medium/lite body.

oobawa (1301) - Tennessee, USA - APR 7, 2017
Very quaffable pils, light and airy with an underlying sweetness offsetting the dry, floral haystack hoppiness. Pours a bright yellow gold, offering up a fluffy if fleeting head and modest lacing. Nose leans floral, hay and pine on the underside. Taste starts dry, pilsner malt meeting a minor yeasty note, then develops a noticeable sweet vein underneath the usual grassy, floral Euro-hop pungency. Stays light, and finishes semidry with a moderate bitterness.

Scipio (1041) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Pours a clear, thin looking, golden yellow with a full, long lasting, white head. The aroma is full of floral and grassy hops, as well as lemon, light spice, and yeast. The taste is sweet, but it isn’t over the top. Lemon and floral hops dominate here. Sugar, yeast, honey, and some mild caramel serve as undertones. The aftertaste is floral. Its strong and lingers for quite a long time. This one is light in body, with a thinner, slightly sticky texture, and is average in carbonation. Not bad, although I don’t think I’m going to remember this.

Fujimo2000 (155) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 18, 2017
Pours hazy yellow with a good deal of carbonation. A little drier than a normal Pilsner. Very refresh ending.

scarletfire65 (1454) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 10, 2017
Draft at Kasey’s Tavern in Chicago. Soft but complex aromas of honey, grass, soap, and wet grain. Crisp, clean, grassy, bitter finish. An exceptional pilsner.

drdisque (828) - Illinois, USA - MAR 8, 2017
On tap at Big Star. Pours hazy gold. Retains strong lacing as you drink your way down the glass. Lightly bitter with fresh grain an a clean well rounded finish. We’ll above average Pilsener.
