Exceptionally pale golden, decent white cap and spotted lacing. Nose is lean papaya, grainy and grassy. Initial taste is a rich melony bitterness, fairly earthy and malty with a well treated bitterness. Carbonation is very soft and mouthfeel fairly clean, speckled. Finishes peppery rinse of lemon a little bit veggie, lingers long grainy pappery bitter...

Cask, Northern Monk Refectory, Leeds

imdownthepub (14776) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2015
Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’15. Gold with white head. There is a sulphury, farmy aroma from this leading to a thinnish, cereal, grainy light malty beer. Not a lot of character to go on unfortunately.
