(Draught). Interestingly, tangy aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Fresh and lightly sweet flavor of roasted malt, but the taste is also quite watery and boring!

Tap @ Brauhaus am Lohberg zu Wismar. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, caramel and cream. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 150717

Okay. 10/9/8/9//8

Bottle 1 litre, BB Dec-16. Pours black with a light beige head. Obviously something happened with the beer when getting past best before date - it´s a dark sour and roasted beer with loads of cherry, citrus and sour apples together with the coffee and roasted malt. And I´m not sure it´s for the worse. Dry texture, roasted and tart finish. A bit different, quite exciting.

On tap. Pours a brown color. Pleasant malty body, with some caramel, but not enough character

Keg at the brewpub, 17/07/15. Mahognay brown topped with a decent beige cap that retains well. Nose is malt forward, caramel, sweet notes, vanilla. Taste comprises caramel malt, toffee, light perfume, caramelised brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A bitter sweet Schwarz, not a boring one, good balance.

On tap at the brewpub. Sehr dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer schönen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht karamellig, reife Früchte, röstmalzig. Geschmack sehr karamellig, schokoladig, Vanille, lecker.

Vom fans at brewery tap. Pours a dark mahogany brown with a thin white head, bread and dough on the nose, roasted malts, dried fruit and a hint of chocolate in the taste. Liked this. A decent schwarzbier.

Draught @Brewpub. Deep brown, thick light brown head. Roasty, bready aroma, typical. Flavor has roastedness, bread, honey sweetness. Slightly too sweet for me, also bit thin.
