kappldav123 (6129) - GERMANY - OCT 28, 2012
1l-bottle, looks really good. Beer in the glass not very zippy, creamy head. Starts mild, dry-malty, grasy-hoppy notes, a bit sourish. Hoppy notes are quite unbalanced, so the beer is not very drinkable. Finish still unbalanced. Nothing special.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden colour with white head. Nice, herbal grassy hops in aroma. Super clean flavour, a great pilsener. It’s grassy, fresh, almost juicy maltiness and pleasantly bitter. In the end, the texture feels a bit milky and thickish, especially for a 4,8% beer. Light-medium bodied. Still great beer.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with butter and malty notes. Flavour very buttery and had hints of malt and caramel.

Bottle 100cl. w. swing top.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, butter, acrid bitter notes, light hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090922]

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has sweet notes of malt as well as light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and sulphur, leading to a strawy finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2009 2009-09-22, bottle from Fonefan, 7-3-6-3-13=32
Blond color. Very nice malt and hay aroma. Normal flavor, some malt, some hay more than the average, correct bitterness.

2009-05-24, draught at the brewpub, 6-3-5-2-10=26
Deep blond color. Light cereals aroma. Ordinary flavor, strong bitterness, maybe too much. Unbalanced, unimpressive.
