MAP (1133) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2009
Pour is a slightly hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is a grassy musk with a hint of lemon. Flavor is quite impressive, nothing witchy about it, but a smooth kind of earthy ale. It starts with a rather gentle malt texture with a slight finish of lemon with mild bitterness. Certainly not a knock-you-socks-off Belgian, but it is pretty drinkable.

ryanknock (150) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 15, 2009
A well rounded ale, similar to a trippel, but much less sweet. Grainy, biscutty backbone with the estery notes subdued, mostly being apples and pears. Great noble-spicy hop presence, and due to the carbonation quite dry and refreshing in the finish, with low to no warmth

Pours a hazy golden. Aroma is sweet, wheaty and rich. Flavor is full. A bit spicy, actually. Nice citrus-wheaty flavor. Complex, full and good. VERY solid.

hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2009
Lightly hazy golden in color with a medium-large off white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, light banana, apple, with some sweet pale malts. Taste: Estery with apple and light banana, sweet and full bodied with a pale malt and honey sweetness, with a touch of spice and a very light hop bitterness in the finish.
