An odd duck. Pours clear golden with huge foamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is yeast and apple. Aromas are same plus some light pepper and maybe a hint of rye. Taste is light sweet with a longer bitter finish. Mouth is very heavily carbonated. Ok, but not the tripel I expected. BrewJedi (14) - - APR 3, 2013
750ml bottle, pours a clear straw color, big full head, smells of lemon grass, taste is light a refreshing and very enjoyable. Metalchopz (3364) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 13, 2013
Single brown, wine-looking, bottle from the LCBO with a cork and cage. Pours a shinning golden colour with a big soapy head that fizzes away slowly and gives a bit of foam lacing. Mild aromas of spices (cloves, coriander), Belgian Ale yeast, apples and light citrus (oranges mostly). Smooth mouthfeel with a nice balance between oily and creamy. No burning at all and just slight warming. The taste is pretty fruity at first, but does calm down with time. Citrus, apples with the spices and nicely balanced bitterness, which creates a little dryness. Maybe not a full Tripel, but has a lot of the guts of one. A decent brew from the cauldron. Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with peppery yeast and sweet Belgian style malt notes are quite nice. Taste is a mix between some fruity ester and peppery yeast with some rustic Belgian malt notes with light residual candi sugar notes. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well brewed and enjoyable without re-writing the style. solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Smells like lots of florals. Good Belgian blonde verging on triple. Pours cloudy blond with good head and lacing on the creamy bleached side. Floral hops, slightly sour malt. 750 ml bottle.

This has sentimental value as my husband and I drank it on our first wedding anniversary- which was before we were rating. Its not available in our area, so we bought it when we ran across it on vacation.
Bottle. Hazy honey color with frothy cream head and generous lacing. The aroma reminds me partly of wine and partly of bread and maybe a little of hard candy. Very sweet. Whew a little too sweet for my current tastes- though I remember us both liking it before. Oh, wait, there is a tinge of hop at the end. HopTsing (575) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - FEB 1, 2013
From the bottle poured a lovely golden brew with a huge, fluffy head. Aromas of malt and vanilla. Medium bodied with a rich, malty, vanilla flavor with a little hop finish at the end tha lingers. rwgould (331) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 20, 2013
Pours a cloudy orange with a fine white head. Aroma: Very hoppy and dry. Some notes of cloves and orange. Palate: Foamy, fizzy, astringent, oily, long finish. Taste: slightly sweet in the start, quickly moves to a very strong dry bitterness. cfrancis (3407) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 18, 2013
