Not everything that come from a can is disapointing. Perfect cloudy appearnce(minus the chunks).Ginger, orange, more spice and fruit are in full force.Tart and acidic liek a wit should be(in my mind).

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2003 "You can only find this in one place in the Bay Area," the store owner at the liquor store in Castro District told me. It wasn't very worth it. Medium head that quickly disappeared. light bitter taste with medium wheaty flavors.

Aroma of citrus and wheat, cloudy yellow, small white head. Malt and wheat flavour, with a hint of lemon. Medium bodied, good mouthfeel, dry. Really good!

11.2 oz can. Pours a very cloudy dark yellow with a bright white head and losts of lacing. Bit of a yeasty aroma. Tart, crisp flavor but not as estery as I would like - does not have that banana-like quality that most wheats have. Overall, a decent summer refresher. A bit of an odd mouthfeel to it, kind of an artificial pasty feel to it.

Cloudy golden colour with a large-bubbled white head. Smells of green apples, spices and a bit of wheat. Medium-bodied; Strong fruity yeast characteristics with some malt thrown in. Aftertaste fairly clean, but nice and fruity. Overll, pretty good for a belgie white! I bought this 33 cL bottle at Green's Beverages in Atlanta, Georgia and sampled it on 26-September-2003.

Thies label clearly reads wittekerke. However it drinks much more like a traditional wheat than most other Belgium beers. It's a bit on the thin side but has great flavor. Extremly carbonated. I liked it, drank light but packed with wheat flavor.

In a can. Ginger taste with almost no aroma. It had a strange aftertaste.

11.2 OZ can. Cloudy straw yellow with a small white head and yeast chunks. Peppery with a citrus tinge. Ends sweet.

A cloudy straw color with a white bubbly head. The aroma is wheaty with some hint of citrus. The flavor is of wheats and some citrus, lemon with sweet notes.
