Quite solid for the style. Clear gold, some lace. Nose is grassy, not my fave. Taste is clean and crisp and finishes dry with that slight German metallic hop finish that I dig. No off notes. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - DEC 4, 2016

Pale aroma of sweet grains and honey. Light sulphur and clove on finish. Taste is basic sweet european malts amd some bland honey amd caramel flavors. Shallow finish with basic bittering hops. Appearance is a clear straw with a frothy head that retains quite well. An ok session lager. PorterPounder (7971) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 1, 2016

16.9 ounce can poured into a pilsner glass. The beer is a clear gold with a big head of white foam. The aroma has soft, grainy, doughy notes. Grassy and a little herbal. I get a bit of butterscotch in there as well. Dry, crisp finish. Moderately bitter through the finish. Lighter in body and medium carbonation. bhensonb (15251) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Can from an Egerer Advent pack. Pours bright gold with a white head. Flavor of bready with a touch of mixed grass and spice. Med body almost. Flavor is clean light malt with a spicy note. Flavors are pleasant, tho not very strong. Clean, yes. Not crisp, really. Quite drinkable. 16erBlech (524) - Burgenland, AUSTRIA - OCT 30, 2016

Rating #2198 - 2015.12.01 - Can #1 in the BeerAdvent Calendar for Costco. Clear, pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fizzes away quickly. Aroma is toast, mild grass. Taste is mild floral hops, mild grainy, mild toffee sweet, and quite grainy on the finish, which is dry, but crisp. Mouthfeel is bubbly, but satisfying. Bottle purchased and consumed at Freising Train Station, Bavaria, best by 9/30/16, consumed Nov. 2015: Beaming golden. Stiff, fluffy foam. Defective nose of canned peas, decaying hay, fusel alcohol, jelly candy and DMS. Hint of flowery Hallertauer. Restrained carbonation leaves a foamy residue on the tongue. Soft lemony and floral hops are soon hushed by husky and simplistic pils malt. Light DMS gives a fuzzy vegetal characteristic which adds weight and muddles things. Soggy white bread and damp hay emerge from the sloppy malt. Prickly, indiscreet alcohol and rotting Red Delicious apple notes further mar things. Wet, soapy and paintlike finish shows a touch of flowers, but it’s quite dull and the malt remains rather limp and husky. Fairly dirty aftertaste of grain husks and metal. Very industrial and seems carelessly made.
