dogbomb (1244) - ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2012
Bottle. Deep copper ale with a fairly steady creamy white head. Nose is buttery, with a touch of sweet caramel and some light peachy fruit. Initially the taste is roasty and caramel, but soon gives way to a bitter hop with some nice dryness to it. Finish is dry, bitter with a nice smattering of maltiness. Quite standard, but you really can’t knock it. imdownthepub (15129) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Victory, Brighton as Laines Best. Copper with white head. Fairly simple session bitter, fruity, peachy with a cereal background, slightly tangy yeast note. Leighton (22021) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2012
Cask at The Cleveland Arms, London. Pours clear, pure gold with a small, creamy white head. Doughy malts in the nose with definite diacetyl. Light to medium sweet flavor, doughy, lightly buttery, some mild straw bitters. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, a good deal of buttery biscuits and bread. A bit off in terms of condition it seems. daniele (9532) - ITALY - FEB 5, 2012
