This golden, pale blonde ale has a distinctive hoppy aroma derived from use of Celeia hops late in the copper. The scents are reminiscent of fields of grass freshened by a short shower on a sunny summer’s day. The taste is sharply hoppy and beautifully stimulates the underside edges of your tongue. There’s the merest hint of malt to complement the hops. The aftertaste develops the hops further with an increasing dryness and straw bitterness to finish.

Cask at the O’Connell’s, Tampere, Finland.
Cloudy yellow colour with no head. Mild aroma with notes of fruitiness and grainy maltiness. Flavour is mild hops with touch of bitterness and maltiness. Simple Blond Ale.

The_Osprey (9641) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2014
Cask at Draft House. Yellow, slight haze, still, small ring of white head. Aroma is musty socks. Body is light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is soft lemon citrus, dry, musty, some ash. Nice golden ale. It drinks well despite the dodgy aroma.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2011
Cask conditioned handpump Sidewinder Brighton. A blonde beer with a big thick white head and lacing. Aroma has creamy notes with a bit of butter. Lemony hops in the mouth with biscuity malts. A bit chewy for its strength but OK.

DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2012
Cask handpull with ’The Legion’ tapping on the windows, The Crown, Nuneaton, 28/07/12. Pale straw with a slim white cap. Vinegared nose. Sour lambic, lemon wheatiness and crab apple. Farmyard streaks. Unintentionally Belgian.

bottle. Golden brown. Light, crisp and creamy. Really easy drinking and decent but Mott the greatest

Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Cask at the Earth & Stars, Brighton, 16th Dec 2010. Bright gold, small lacy head. Dry, dusty hop nose. Light, refreshing palate. Really drinkable. Good start for Ian Burgess at WJ King. Lovely golden ale. Wrong day for it though, was wet and gloomy in Brighton.
