A brand new beer in our portfolio. Lightly hopped so that the malty flavour is more pronounced. Mild brown in colour.

Poured the usual golden color. Aroma was somewhat fruity for a lager. Flavor was a great balance of malt and hops. Some light fruity grapes in the flavor with a bready malt backbone. Slight touch of hops in the finish. Respectable hop presence / showing. Full mouthfeel for the style with a slightly dry finish. Lacing was weak, although the initial head was ok.

JDW, Redhill. A fruity & sweet beer with minimal hops. Possibly poorly conditioned, this has a suggestion of diactyl, a lack of clarity (a common fault with stronger beers) and a rotting fruit flavour (sometimes the result of a too hesitant use of crystal malt). A bit of a mess really.
