3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark and deep black color, I can't see through the glass when held up to a light, decent creamy light brown head that leaves good lacing in my glass, has a chocolate and coffee aroma. Dark roasted malty chocolate flavors, medium body that has a soft and creamy mouthfeel, nice bitter and sweet chocolate flavors in the finish, well done

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark brown with tan head. Decent oatmeal stout, though it doesn't compare to Sam Smith's -- roasted malts, chocolate and oatmeal.

I am rating the Otter Creek version, which I understand came out a few months ago. All coffee here in a light black pour. Defineatly a coffee lovers delight here. I'd like to try this over some Haagen Daaz Vanilla. These guys also make a Roasted Garlic Mustard and a nice Beer Mustard worth trying.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2004 Bottled on 11/12/03, batch# 1452... Poured dark brown, red hue and a large tan head and nice lacing. Roasted coffee aroma. Roasted coffee taste, weak mouthfeel for a stout. I wish this was heartier, but it's really not all that bad.
