Bottle. Pours an orange color with white head. Pretty typical pumpkin beer aromas and flavors of pumpkin and spices. Pretty well balanced between pumpkin and spices, neither dominate. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 1, 2014

Bottle as Pumpkin Ale in the usual Wolavers layout. Aroma of spice/pumpkin pie, bread. A nice organic pumpkin brew. Not too risky, just gettin it done. Maxbier (1000) - Maryland, USA - SEP 14, 2014
Brown pour from bottle off white head. Pumpkin and spice aroma. Malty with some pumpkin spice and lots of actual pumpkin flair through the finish.

A very good pumpkin on draught. Smooth up front, and still hits the back of your tongue with spices. I'd drink this consistently....it's really good.

The body had a deep amber color with some visible carbonation. The head on top was off white in color, tall and slowly faded down to thin ring of lace. On the way down the glass it left behind some nice lace rings. The nose had notes of sweet malt, rich pumpkin meat and pumpkin pie spice with ginger being the stand out. Its spice character is up front and center with ginger and then cinnamon standing out. Next up is a sweet malty middle with noticeable roasted pumpkin flesh notes. Hop flavor also mixes in and adds to the spicy character. The finish has a nice balance of all its components and slowly fades off the tongue. It has a rich smooth texture with nice carbonation and a solid medium to full body.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a cloudy orange colored body with a small one finger white head that quickly dissipated into the body. No carbonation is seen rising. No lacing is left.
The smell had the allspice and ginger up front with the pumpkin coming in behind it.
The taste balanced sweet malty pumpkin with the allspice and ginger coming in together. The aftertaste is bitter.
The palate was about a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue.
Overall, this was not a bad pumpkin being that its organic. If I was a tree-hugger, this is a pumpkin beer that I would do more often. Ontbeertaster (3208) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2013
