I had it on tap. It pours a copper color with some head. The aroma is slightly pumpkin with some spices. The taste is a subtle pumpkin with the same spice balance. I like that the pumpkin is subtle. The palate is a bit thin and overly carbonated for the style. This was a pretty good pumpkin beer. LyndaNova (532) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 14, 2009
Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear medium sunset orange with a small ivory head that quickly diminishes and leaves some lacing. Aroma is of pumpkin, banana and spice with some citrus notes. Taste is of light grains, pumpkin and citrus. Medium bodied and crisp, with good carbonation. Ending is lightly bitter with spice notes. carl4beer (522) - Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA - OCT 1, 2008
12oz. pours deep copper with small head. aroma is pumpkin and spice and very yummy. mouthful is tart and tangy with some lingering vegetable taste... the pumpkin and spice was hard to find... a little let down. gpekar (497) - Florida, USA - SEP 29, 2009
Poured a clear copper with a tall foamy tan head. The head dropped to a film rather quickly, but left a light amount of lacing. There was a light spice aroma of cloves, pumpkin and nutmeg. The flavor was also mild with tastes of clove and pumpkin. There was a nice hop bitterness that developed on the finish. A nice beer. sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Tap. Pours a rusty orange with a dense foam head. They didn’t go overboard with the pumpkin flavor or sweetness which makes this a very pleasant, drinkable beer. One of my favorite pumpkin beers so far.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a small off white head. Nose is rich pumpkin muffin, nutmeg, cinnamon. Palate full and rich, coats the mouth and light tingles on the tongue. Flavor of pumpkin, sugar granules and cinnamon, bready malts.

Slightly cloudy deep amber pour with off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, pumpkin and spices. The flavor hits the taste buds with a mix of sweetness and spice followed by a malt/pumpkin combo for some balance. A bit too much in the spice department, but a decent drinking pumpkin ale nonetheless. Ret12 (453) - Maryland, USA - SEP 20, 2011
For me this beer was to watery for a pumpkin style, still tasty just not enough behind it. cakanator (452) - South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 26, 2008
12oz bottle. Not my favorite wolavers product. Too much spice and not enough body. Not balanced and thin. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 1, 2014
Pours orange with a thin white head. Aroma is pumpkin. Flavor is pumpkin with subtle hops and spice.
