3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The head on this beer was weak with little retention. This was perhaps the only negative. The aroma was excellent. It smelled like a warm pumpkin pie. The beer had a great hop flavor that is often missing in this style. It also had a lingering taste of all spice. This is a beer that I would gladly have a second. In general a good beer for this style it was great.
Poured into a snifter.
3.0 A: Murky amber brown color. One finger of frothy off-white head. Retention is below average and a few wisps of lacing are left.
3.75 S: Good balance of pumpkin and spices. Nutmeg and allspice are most prominent with cinnamon pulling up the rear. Toasty malts with a caramel backbone. Fairly simple by pumpkin beer standards, but has everything you want.
3.75 T: Like the nose, this isn’t very intense, but it tastes good and has great balance. Good pumpkin flavor, spices per above. Caramel and toastiness.
3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth.
4.0 D: This doesn’t get a lot of love, but I really like it.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This murky red amber ale has a very small white head. The aroma is almist non existent and the flavor has almost zero pumpkin flavor. Not a good pumpkin ale. samsmith33 (772) - - NOV 9, 2015
Veggie aroma. Taste is ash, Alkaseltzer. No spice. Little pumpkin. No good. Not a fan of this brewery. TychoJames (1380) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2015

Fat på Alphabet City NYC. Orange med beige skum. Mycket kanel i doften. Kanel dominerar även smaken.

I had it on tap. It pours a copper color with some head. The aroma is slightly pumpkin with some spices. The taste is a subtle pumpkin with the same spice balance. I like that the pumpkin is subtle. The palate is a bit thin and overly carbonated for the style. This was a pretty good pumpkin beer. trapped (3394) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 10, 2015
Bottle. Pours bright amber with small foamy off-white head, pumpkin aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish caramel taste with pumpkin flavor, medium bitter finish. Nice for a pumpkin beer. raymow (1700) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2015
bottled - a very good pumpkin ale. You can taste the quality in there. Nice orangey color. Great aroma and flavor. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Drank in a pint poured from a twelve ounce bottles. Pours amber in color, beautiful. Smells overpoweringly like pumpkins. Tastes like artificial pumpkins smh SteveOrz85 (249) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2015
12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Dark golden color beer with thin white head. Aroma of doughy yeast along with some mild pumpkin and cloves among other spices. Taste is very lightly sweet and extremely lightly bitter. Light to medium bodied beer with a fairly thin texture. Average carbonation and nice finish which lingers slightly. Mild pumpkin flavor complemented by light spices especially clove. I enjoy and look forward to many pumpkin ales. This is one of my favorites due to its simplicity and subtle balance. Pumpkin flavor is surely present and not overwhelmed by an influx of spices and sweetness. Simply a pure, solid pumpkin ale. I generally enjoy more spices than none, but this beer is well balanced.
