Cask ale at Zachariah Pearson (JDW), shared with Finn. Hazy dark golden body. Covering pearl white head. spotty lacing. Malt-fruity nose. Bottle. Beers of Advent day 12. Bright gold under a thin white swirl. Looks like lager, but it’s not as interesting. Aroma of vegetables, apple juice, light grassy hop, almonds, milky coffee. Faint and biscuity with a rub of spruce and grassy hop; straw, hint of coffee butter cream. Dull.
