2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Looks quite lagerish and has a similar taste to it. Some bitterness, especially in the finish. Corn based aroma combined with a frutiness. Ok beer.

Bottle, bought @ Osteria Sottirova 23, Verona. Clear golden with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma has exotic fruits, grapefruit, lime, melon. Highish carbonation, fairly dry and light mouthfeel. Bottle at home. Pours a golden straw colour with a small off-white head. Nice aromas of sweet fruit and berries. I find more tropical fruits, bubble gum, dextrose, fruity hops and grapefruit. The flavour reminds me of artificial fruit flavours and is more like a classic british golden ale, with fruits, hay, lemon, and is a bit dry in the end. In the end the flavour appears both round and nice. Light to medium bitterness, and has a slick mouth feel. A great golden ale, but I would like more hops in this beer. berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - MAR 6, 2012
Bottle (50cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Small white head that disappears quite quickly. Clear, pale golden colour. Aroma of malt, corn, elderflower, lime, banana (somewhat chemical). Light/medium body, soft/average carbonation. Taste has a juicy-malty sweetness, balanced by a lime-like acidity and a mild bitterness (that grows towards the finish). fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2012

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting - Ulfborg ].
Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, herbs, citrus, rubber. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. It pours a clear, pale golden body and a small, dense, white head. The aroma is on the fruity, lighlty citrusy side, some pale maltyness. Soft on the palate, with a nice bitterness coming stronger towards the end. There’s citrus, some pine cones and a nice generic fruityness in the flavor, not much maltyness going on. Well, a decent beer, especially considering it’s gluten free. 120224 Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2012
