From bottle. Clear, amber colour. Nice, well balanced hops bitterness. Surprisingly full-bodied for its alcohol content.

God balanse, litt for lett for en bitter. Lite lukt. Flott skum. Helt ok på smak. Selges på Ica.

On bottle from Meny Løren.dark golden color, good foam. Aromas of malt, light dried fruits, some general fruitiness and some hops. Light/ medium body & complexity. Good bitterness & balance. Enjoyable

Foffern (1983) - Bodø, NORWAY - APR 8, 2013
Bottle shared with ClubGonzo and Veitafan. A proper British bitter with a clear brownish amber colour and a small off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel, apricot, leather, toffee and some hops. The flavour is less fruity with a larger malty touch and leather, wort and wood. In the end I sence grassy hops. Mouth feel is easy and smooth, and has a light to medium bitterness. An easy-drinking and decent bitter.

Bottle from Meny Manglerud enjoyed at home
Copper clear, beige head. Smells of malts, caramel, hints of citrus and english hops. Moderate sweet, clean and crisp, nice malt flavors. Moderate to medium bitter, some resins. A very refreshing session bitter - nice hops. Very drinkable

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear golden-brown colored one with a small bubbly quickly sidesticking white top. It’s light floral on the aroma with traces of caramel, metal and some old sweet fruits. Not to exciting to be honest. It has a decent amount of flavor for being such a little guy. Average on the carbonation and light watery on the mouthfeel. Soft sweet malty flavors, light soapy-bitter with more traces of old fruits and a light dry-bitter branch-like thing in the finish and aftertaste. Nice caramel all the way. Actually not that bad at all this bitter. 16.02.2013

ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2013
Bottle from Lerøy Mat, Bergen, shared with Foffern and Veitafan. Deep coppery amber body with a tiny white head. Nose is piney bubblegum-like grain tones with hints of caramel. Taste is grass, caramel malts and hints of mint-like herbs. Moderately bitter grass finish. Mild, both in taste and carbonation, but quite OK.
