Bottle. Deep amber with a persistent off-white head. Aromas are earthy hops with fruit and some nuttiness, quite "Northern". Flavours are burnt toffee malts, some berry fruitiness with dry earthy nuttiness. Quite spicy in its hops with a dry finish. Cask conditioned - gravity - Golden Ball York. Amber coloured bitter with a juicy fruity aroma. The taste is mostly bitter with good malt in the background. Tasty.

Bottled. Copper, thin white head and low condition. Low fruity malt and some hoppiness in the nose. Caramel malt, spicy hop and a slight nuttiness in the mouth and a good developing hop bitterness in the finish.
