COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention. Such triple hopped beers need hot full flavoured foods to accompany them!

500ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma: sweet, slightly grainy malts, fruity citrus, floral hops. Taste: same as the aroma, sweet malty base, grainy, bready, fruity citrus and floral hops, bitter finish. Light-medium body, fine carbonation. Not too bad but not really what I expected from an IPA.

500ml bottle. Pours clear golden amber, no head. Nose is bready, toffee, nutty, grapefruit and orange rind. Medium mouth feel. Bready biscuit caramel malt leading into a piney grapefruit orange rind bitter finish. Quite an oily texture too. Not a session beer, but nice enough to buy again.

dogbomb (1233) - ENGLAND - APR 25, 2017
Bottle. Golden ale with a thick white top. Nose is lemon and grapefruits. Some alka seltzer. Taste is very zingy. There’s a pleasant lemon/grapefruit bite to this, and a nice malt in the belch. Too zingy to quaff, so this is a bit of a sipper.

Pours clear, golden. Ring of white head. Not much aroma, just a bit of grass and grains. Reminds me more of a German pilsner than an IPA, really. It’s a little bitter, finish is a little dry. It’s a not all that aromatic.
