Bottled 04/09/13. A golden beer with an off-white pool of head. A full flavoured hoppy beer. Good citrus flavours and a nice body. Good malts. Tasty and well constructed and balanced. Lovely length of flavour. Really very nice. fairwater (146) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours very pale, clear, gold. Aroma is caramel and earthy hops. Taste is almost marmalade-like, old oranges. Then there’s some more fresh citrus, and a resinous character, leaving a residual bitterness and a quickly departing moderate bitterness. Nice beer - would definitely look for some more. Hey I like this stuff... not much aroma to it but fairly drinkable stuff. Some kind of citrus taste to it. Nice aftertaste when burping. Glad to discover this beer in Vancouver Canada... DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 28, 2013
Bottle. Well, this was a nice little surprise. I really expected nothing much here, and maybe that’s why I liked this more than I thought I would. To begin with, British IPAs tend to underwhelm me after having been spoiled so much with the fine American style IPA selection we have here. And secondly, Wold Top hasn’t exactly thrilled me with their beers. But I’m happy to be wrong-- this was actually very enjoyable, with its delicate floral and citrus hop profile and perfectly balanced sweet biscuit malts. The mouthfeel was almost creamy in texture. Just so drinkable. madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2013

Bright clear pale gold beer with a small white head. Light crisp palate, semi dry with fine carbonation. Clean pale malt, a little dry. Hops are light but very pleasing in their lime - lemon character. There is a nice touch of piney sweetness as well. Finishes semi dry and medium bitter. Sank this in no time!
500 ml bottle at home, poured into a big Guinness glass. ABV 6%
Deep golden yellow colour on the body, with a snow white head on top, one finger in size, thick, with great retention, leaving medium lacing around the glass.
Aroma has a bit of barnyard, some funk but also seems nicely hopped, with light citrus, grapefruit and herbs.
Very nice taste, hoppy enough, fruity but subtle, with citrus, pine, strong bitterness going all the way to the aftertaste and hanging there for a long time. Alcohol notes too but barely notable, on the finish.
Medium body, good soft carbonation. Oily palate.
Big surprise this one, as I got it along with a bunch of other beers from the same place and most of them were mediocre, but this one is very good. ianwelby (1432) - SCOTLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Has a strong, hoppy aroma and the taste is hoppy with a sweet edge but finishes with a crisp, bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable.
Gut! 11/12/11/12/8/12

500ml bottle from a farm shop near Scarborough. Surprisingly fruity blond with a touch of pine and a sprightly bitter linger. Very nice.
