Date of January 15th 2014 on the label. Rusher and a gusher so watch out. Pours a cloudy rusty colour with an avalanche of foam which takes some time to settle down. A delightful nose of sweetish fruit greets my nose. Yeasty and malty as well. Caramel mixes nicely with the fruit. Taste follows the smell with an addition of tart hints. Alcohol pretty noticable. Light bodied sort of light carbonation. Best before or bottled on, I dig this.

Donkergeel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig hoppig, licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van ananas en abrikoos. Erg zachte smaak, erg goed.

Draught at The Capital Leuven. High fluffy lasting white head. Hazy amber body. Mild fruity and dry aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.

Clear yellow, small white foam head. Sweet aroma, light hoppy. Good crisp barley taste, nice beer. (Velp 201509)

Retired? Really? Ive had this sitting on a shelf next to me for a good eight months without realising. Ah well, now Ive opened it... Clear golden yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Some lemony freshness on the nose with lemon peel, lemon curd and lemon floor cleaner, but in saying that, it is a beautiful meld of lemon. Tingly mouthfeel and light flavours with (surprise, surprise) lemon and maybe a bit of borage honey as well. It is crisp, like green apple peel crisp, and zingy. Rather good all told.

Such a pitty that this beer is retired. By far one of the best Blonde-beers I have aver tasted. Very nice and aromatic palate but very soft mouthfeel and sweet taste.

De beste van de Wolf-bieren dat ik al gedronken heb, een aanrader om eens te proberen

Old rating from a couple of years ago, found in old scoresheets from a tasting session with Benzai at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Not a lot of notes taken. Golden colour, lightly spicy, yeasty, fruits and some bitter. Nice beer.

11.2 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a 15 % hazy dulled yellow orange color, formed a bubbly white head that did not lace. Aroma of straw, yeast, and light wheat. Hits the mouth with light medium body, malt is extremely light even for the style, various spices in the middle, finish is drying and a very light hint of vanilla. Its not that bad...

Hazy light gold, Floral nose with toasted grain. Sweet. Alcohol starts in the middle, not too heavy. Vanilla and light hops out the back door.
