e33 bottle pours a yellowish gold with a white head. Aromas of grape white wine some citrus and a bit of flural aromas. Flavor is dry and slightly sweet. Body is medium light and finishes semi sweet and dry

Such a pitty that this beer is retired. By far one of the best Blonde-beers I have aver tasted. Very nice and aromatic palate but very soft mouthfeel and sweet taste.

Icedwarf (1722) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2016
Donkergeel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig hoppig, licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van ananas en abrikoos. Erg zachte smaak, erg goed.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2010
Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thick creamy white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of spices and sharp nice malts. Flavor is spicy malty and nicely bitter. Good balance. Bitter spicy finish, lively carbonation.

Benzai (16202) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2011
Bought a bottle of this beer at Tilburg Drinkt 2010, together with the Wolf 8. This one had a better smell, but the Wolf 8 tasted better. Both pretty nice beers though.

harbert (100) - leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2012
Pale golden colour with a haze. Firm head that produces a beautiful lacing. Fruity aroma’s, peaches, citrus lead to a duvelish finish, a strong carbonation that brings bitterness in the spicey finish

podey (638) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 15, 2013
33cl bottle at BXL East. Pours cloudy gold with thick white head. Wonderful lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops. Taste is a bit spicy and fruity, nice finish.

Bill Becker (1101) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Date of January 15th 2014 on the label. Rusher and a gusher so watch out. Pours a cloudy rusty colour with an avalanche of foam which takes some time to settle down. A delightful nose of sweetish fruit greets my nose. Yeasty and malty as well. Caramel mixes nicely with the fruit. Taste follows the smell with an addition of tart hints. Alcohol pretty noticable. Light bodied sort of light carbonation. Best before or bottled on, I dig this.

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2011
{thoughts} Strikingly similar to Duvel, except for a citrus rind addition.

{elements} Hazy, peach hue; very tall, white foam. Duvel-like pilsner malt and banana aroma with an addition of citrus. Moderate sweetness, moderate acidity, light-moderate bitterness; acidity and carbonation play down the sweetness, making it seem fairly dry. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, creamy texture.

Old rating from a couple of years ago, found in old scoresheets from a tasting session with Benzai at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Not a lot of notes taken. Golden colour, lightly spicy, yeasty, fruits and some bitter. Nice beer.
