Een bier met niet zoveel smaak aan. Dan is de Wolf 7 voor mij een lekkerder bier.

Sampled from bottle presumably @ Benzai’s place quite some time ago. Dark brown colour...Smell and taste malts, caramel, sweetish... Typical Belgian beer.

Wolf was one of the first Belgian craft beers I tried after moving here. Had this out at some restaurants but now bringing it home for the review. The 8 is a lovely dark brown with a great moguled, shaving-cream head. Maybe a bit over-carbonated, but it also helps it stay brisk at 8.2%. Nice branding to match - consistent, and a good series effect with the 7, 8, and 9.

330 ml bottle - pours deep brown amber with persisting light beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, caramel, honey, apple. Medium body with light palate, nice sweetness, combined with slight alcohol warmth. Taste of toffee and malt.

Pours a nice dark reddish amber color. Aromas of fruit, and some other hints, maybe some spices, maybe caramel. Flavor is a bittersweet, malty, and a hint of hops with a nice bittersweet finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of matl and caramel. The falvor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, metal, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
