Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body under a white head. Butterscotch and citrus in the aroma, not much else, and not very pronounced, but at least without off-flavors. The aroma is much the same, and has a piney, citrusy bitter finish. Medium, quite effervescent mouthfeel. Quite refreshing and drinkable, but also un-challenging. Would probably be easy to down a few, but also boring. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Spiced and mild butterish aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and hoppy. Mild spiced and slight butterish lasting flavour. Lingering hoppy finish with a persisting butterish note.

berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2008
Cask at the 3B’s, Reading. Chestnut with a thin white head; malt aroma; sweet and malty flavour with a gentle bitter finish. Rather average.

harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2008
Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. I was amazed that I hadn’t rated this before. Gold with thin beige head. Decent golden bitter. OK malts, ok citrus hops. It’s ok, fine, ok flavours not great but drinable all the same.

Fin (10748) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2008
Cask at the Turf Tavern, Oxford, 01-06-08 Pours mid -gold with slim white head. Initial taste is a bittersweet crunch, then there is a twiggy, sticky woodland floor sort of taste, dryness spreads across the roof of the mouth and hops put in a good appearance at the end, quite interesting.

Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 25, 2008
Cask at The White Horse with renffisch and tashi. Clear golden amber with a line of white head. Dry hoppy aroma that carries on in the taste but is nicely balanced by biscuity malt. Soft, dry finish that lasts. A good hoppy pint and very sessionable as Mes points out!

A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown.
Standard blonde with a thin white head. Perfect hoppy stuff with lemon and earthy notes plus a nice dryness. Aroma is just slightly better. Sessionable and very tasty.

Rune (13204) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2006
Brown red-tinged body with almost no foam, but leaving great lacing on the glass. Weak hoppy aroma. Rounded taste of hop bitterness and fruitiness. Nice bitter end (Half pint on cask at the King’s Arms in Norwich 24.09.2006)
