Amber with a large off white head. Rather a wonderful sweet burnt caramel aroma. Sweet, nutty malt taste and decent bitterness to follow. Liked this a lot.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2007
Cask conditioned @: Guide Dog, Soton. Malty toffee with mild roasty chocolate and toast flavours. Mild hops in the surprisingly light finish. A bit of a scratchy feel in the mouth from the roastiness which isnt helped by the light body.

DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2007
Bottled. Ornately lacy mahogany pour with a well-retained creamy beige head. Richly malty, buttery caramel snout with an inviting whiff of barrel. Creamily chocolatey, walnutty and wholemeal-flavoured with a punch of biiterly roasty malt and peppery hops in the finish. Deep, silky and luxurious.
