Sample at Mellow Mushroom in Johnson City. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt and grassy hops, plus a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet honey and malt with a slight hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. rosenbergh (11799) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2014

Bottle @ 3N Share. Gold with a small white head. Nose is strongly of corn cake. Honey. Quite sweet. Some melon. Taste is similar. Ridiculously sweet. Loads of honeyed corn cake. Lemon and Orange peel. Light but sort of oily. Not my thing. obguthr (6657) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2017
Can: Sweet hay nose. Clear copper, medium yellow head. Grass and hay. Light body, harsh mouthfeel.

On tap at the Knoxville Brewfest. Cloudy yellow, with a thin white head. Smells like, well, honey and cream. Nicely smooth and lightly sweet. Not bad for a style I usually don’t care much for. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JAN 28, 2015
Gold yellow pour with white head and lace. Aroma is sweet corn and I may even get the corn. Sweet maltiness, light corn, and the honey flavor. Medium body with good carbonation. Solid cream ale nearbeer (5604) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 19, 2012
Pint on tap. Light haze on the orange-golden body with a small ring of lasting bubbles. Nose is lightly toasted cereal grain kissed by some earthy pollen and honey. Taste is grain, earthy honeycomb and some nice touches of resin and citrus at the end. Light bodied, easy drinker is sweet but well balanced by a crisp finish and has light-medium carbonation. jbruner (5285) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 27, 2014
This is not my favorite style of beer, but it is well done for what it is. Bready malts with a hint of sweetness, light and easy to drink.
