Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111204]

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, nectar, wood and some slight maltyness as well. Flavour is quite similar and wellbalanced.

Bottled at chriso´s. Clear pale golden, small head. Slight honey aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Short fruity flavour, slight salty bitterness. Dull.

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Clear gold beer. Thin white head. Softish palate, semi dry. Pleasent sweetish citrus orange with a little mango and traces of other fruits. Dry finish where the pale malt becomes more noticeable. Lightly bitter fruit aftertaste. Decent.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, matte gold pour with a slight, white head. Great nose, citrusy hops, grass, tangerine and grapefruit. Nice flavor, a touch soapy, with tangerine and mild bread, along with some grassy bitterness. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Well balanced finish, light sugars giving way to earthy, grassy and citrusy hops that linger on the tongue. Very good beer.

Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Gold with lasting white head. Pretty standard drinkable strong golden beer. Some vague American citrus hops. Some syrupy citrus fruit. But fine if unexciting.

Eww - cheesy lactic aroma. Woh, cottage cheese taste too. Pleasant malty beer hiding behind this trying to get out. Finish has nicely earthy hops - such a shame - will rerate in Norwich hopefully. Ooops, failed.

imdownthepub (15325) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale gold with no head. There was a real sicky flavour in this beer, astringent, perfumed and quite difficult to swallow. Chemical bitterness. Not my sort of beer at all.
