12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/1/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected if 4.6%. Overall this is an excellent session IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Great vibrant, juicy, and dank balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Nice body for the ABV from wheat and oats. Great Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hop profile. One of the better SIPA I have had for sure. A very enjoyable offering.

Very interesting bottle shape. Yeah! Pours clear pale, then cloudy from dregs. Now almost the eye of a somewhat darker pale muddy hefe. Smell of rotten fruit IPA. Good co2! Taste is higher APA in nature. Bitter in the middle. Co2 makes it almost drinkable. Don't know if I could do 2 of these. I guess its on the border between an APA & an IPA on the finish. Not real veggie in the flavor like so many rude sessions.

ganache (6108) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Bottle. Nose big tropical fruit (passionfruit, guava, lychee), medium pine, some lemon and grapefruit, some rind and a bit of bread. Pour hazy orange with a rocky cream head. Taste medium-strong bitter and very rubbery, bone dry, lots of fruit peel and a bit of icky pith. Malt and caramel are thin despite the thick body, body isn’t flat but is boring, some late arriving spice and musk, wood but only generic (not specifically pine). Very little fruit in the mouth, but there is some soap and low-level resin. One where the aromatics promise much but the liquid ultimately doesn’t deliver. [2017.06.20: 2.6]

Draft at source. Strong earthy hoppy almost dank aroma. Tate is light cracker and a ton of hop flavor. Might be happier than the IPA. Solid.

On tap at wolf’s Ridge. Hazy light orange body with aromas of grapefruit and a touch of lemon. Flavor is full and heavy grapefruit. Very, very nice session IPA.

Sampler at brewpub. Pours slightly orange with a white head. Big grapefruit on the nose as well as floral notes. Lovely fruity hoppiness on the tongue. Finished clean without a ton of bitterness. Nice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample. The beer is a clear yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has grassy and pine notes. A bit herbal. The taste is more bitter throughout. A more resinous bitterness in the taste. Medium body and medium carbonation.
