Rune (12947) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 24, 2014
500ml vom fass at Glocken Keller, Kellerwald. Hugh pearl white head that stayed well over an unclear grey-orange coloured body. Fair lacing. Spiced wheat to the nose with a citric touch. The flavour profile is made up by a citrus bite, clove and moderate banana sweetness. Fine bodied and smooth on the swallow. Accepted (Forchheim 11.10.2014).

0.5l bottle. Hazy orange body, white head. Aroma is mostly cloves, but has some earthy hop and banana notes. Taste of banana and bread. Quite sweet weizen with thin body. It’s OK, but not much in it.

Bit thin-bodied and lightly sweetish hefeweizen - nothing special.

MoritzF (9959) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 20, 2012
(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with an egg-white mid-sized foamy head. Yeasty, wheaty, slightly milky aroma with notes of citrus and a tinhe of banana. Moderately sweet flavour with a light bitter-tartness, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Present wheat-character with moderately fruity accents of banana and citrus; sweet and slightly bitter-tart finish with bearable phenolic spices. Okay, but there are better ones out there. 19.XI.12
