Draught at the brauhausWanja (772) - GERMANY - JUL 26, 2013
Cloudy dark blond color, compact head. Delicate, interesting aroma of lemon and lactic acid. Light mouthfeel; I would prefer having some malt or wheat flavor; elegant and mild lemony character, mild acidity, light bread touch; low bitterness.
Simple but nice.
On tap (0.5 l) at Brauhaus, Jena... Unfiltered clody golden color, average head... Very sour aroma of citrus, quite different to the standard banana aroma... Refreshing white beer alternative... Mild sour ending... Quite interesting... brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - JUL 21, 2013
(50 cl bottle) Yellow to brass colored, hazy, some sediment, moderate head. Aroma of lemon juice, barnyard-aromas, a hint of cornflakes. Taste: medium to heavy sourness, a little salty, hardly any bitterness. Dry, astringent, short finish. A refreshing beer for the summer. Bottle, thanks to Roman. It pours hazy straw yellow with a small fizzy white head. The nose is dough, lemon juice, musty, farmyard, vinegar, sour yoghurt, lightly smoked cheese, caramelised banana and a touch of underlying sweetness. The taste is sour lemon, sherbet, tart green apple, moderate acidity, citric, cheap white wine, lactic acid, yoghurt and pickled onion monster munch with a dry finish. Light body and high, prickly carbonation. A very interesting beverage indeed. Very refreshing and enjoyable. jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottle shared at Clockworks 4K/5K/10K Gathering 2013. Pours a cloudy, golden-yellow body with white lacing. Aroma is indoor pool and light tart. Mouthfeel is nice fluffy tartness with notes of lemon, light acidity and a nice pillowy fluffness. Great beer!

bottle from the strange fellow who spent a cold stormy vermont night standing in the hells of a port-a-john wildly swinging an empty bottle of brother soigne around in circles yelling "J’ai faim de bières" with a pair of soiled pants around his ankles. seemed like a nice enough bloke at the time. well this is quite the tasty beer. clean, complex lemon zest, soft yogurt sourness, pleasant old world foggy must and basement dust. bright lemon yogurt tartness is quite refreshing super flavorful @ 2.5 percent abv. quite the nice beer. this brew did not fair as well for my sister. always one for rounding, she exclaimed "this beer is two percent alcohol and ninety-eight percent gross". sheesh. jtclockwork (17284) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Bottle shared by Jay at 5K/10K/4K tasting. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of sea salt, lemon zest and tart fruit. Light acid. Medium body. j12601 (13123) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Dany that I took to James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Smells lovely, a bit of musk and hints of yeast. Light salinity and a lovely touch of musk. Super easy drinking, lovely tartness. I want to drink this all day! Thanks Dany! kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle from EithCubes. Hazy pour with a yellow body and a white head that just doesn’t want to stick around. Sweet aroma with some sweaty tang. A deeper sourness comes through in the flavor and approaches the territory of sour patch kids candy. Light body feels a bit heavy from the sour stickiness. Bubbly carbonation and a lingering sour finish. Quite tasty! Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - APR 19, 2013
Pours hazy gold with a white head. Smells of tarte wheat, some appley undertones. Tastes lightly minerally with some sweet wheat hints on the finish.
