(50 cl bottle) Yellow to brass colored, hazy, some sediment, moderate head. Aroma of lemon juice, barnyard-aromas, a hint of cornflakes. Taste: medium to heavy sourness, a little salty, hardly any bitterness. Dry, astringent, short finish. A refreshing beer for the summer. Wanja (771) - GERMANY - JUL 26, 2013
On tap (0.5 l) at Brauhaus, Jena... Unfiltered clody golden color, average head... Very sour aroma of citrus, quite different to the standard banana aroma... Refreshing white beer alternative... Mild sour ending... Quite interesting... fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 11, 2013
Draught at the brauhausgnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2008
Cloudy dark blond color, compact head. Delicate, interesting aroma of lemon and lactic acid. Light mouthfeel; I would prefer having some malt or wheat flavor; elegant and mild lemony character, mild acidity, light bread touch; low bitterness.
Simple but nice.

Cloudy very pale lemon juice color, white small head. Acidic to sour scent. Malty before swallowing, turns quite sour immediately when swalloed. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel. No bitterness, though very dry.
Courtesy of Fonefan. First of all, you have to know, this is a Berliner style weisse, otherwise you would rate it wrong. At least I would have disliked it :) But knowing this, it’s a pretty nice specimen. The color is unclear, light golden like a wit and the head is weak. The aroma has notes of vinegar and barnyard. The flavour has notes of vinegar, chalk-remover, a sharp, but refreshing, citrus, light malt and the finish is sour and slightly sweet.

Yellow, clear body, with almost no head.
Aroma of ripe cheese, unripe stone fruits, some citrus, slight vomit.
Tastes of stone fruits, sour citrus, cheese, some old milk, some piss.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes sour, cheesy, fruity, citric.
Strange. Very cheesy, rough stuff, I’m not the biggest fan of this to be honest. Characterful and unique nonetheless. Never had a beer like this before, so after all a nice opportunity to try such a hard to come by style.
Bottle, thx to Koelschtrinker. It’s a gusher, producing a milky yellow body under a big, rapidly diminishing, pillowy white head. The aroma is quite pleasant with cellar and lemon. Lemon sodapop, notes of cellar, a salty touch and some barnyard notes in the mouth. Medium to thin body, astringent mouthfeel. A really nice surprise, and very quenching. 091230
