UPDATED: NOV 14, 2010 500 ml bottle into tulip. Pours pale straw, somewhat hazy effervescent body topped by meringue white, rather short lived head.
Aroma is sour & fruity with flowery character, barnyard funk and light malty sweetness penetrating through.
Showing less diversity than the aroma profile, flavor is dominated by lemony sourness with salty sensation (probably due to acidity) and some vinegar. The multilayered sourness doesn’t seem to be derived solely from addition of Lactobacillus. No malts or hoppy bitterness to speak of. Light bodied, highly carbonated and dry the beer is almost champagne like and lively on the palate. Not to my liking but nicely matching the requirements of the style.

Thank you Kolschtrinker! Please standby for a real rating. I’m actually enjoying the company of other beer enthusiasts instead of being a non-social "I must rate this right now!!!" HenrikSoegaard (14166) - Randers, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2012

Ob tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Pours pale yellow, opalescent, with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of barnyard, cheese (parmigiano), esters, lactic, light smoke... terribile. Flavour is light sweet with a sour end, citric and light tart. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Not my cup of tea.

Clear pale yellow beer, small aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of apples, little sour, little sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of apples again, bit sourish, somewhat sugary. Aftertaste: more apples. Very weird beer... Not as disgusting as the Kindl anyway, but not my favourite beer either. Of course, maybe it’s not fair to judge between all the other top beers we had.
50cl bottle from Bierkompass.de. Probably the ugliest label I have seen. Poured hazy, almost yellow color with a thin white head. Sour lemon aroma, spices. Flavor is salty and soury, baking soda perhaps or alike, very strange. Still something fascinating about it. High carbonation. My first Berliner Weisse. I think there are better ones out there. Just have to wait and see. yespr (45425) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2012

Bottle @ Borefts ’13, I think thx to Koeltschtrinker (spelling?). Hazy orange colour with a huge white head. It gushed iirc. Smells sourish and lots of yeast. Tastes sour and yeasty. Thin to medium body and nice carbo.
