pivnizub (10563) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 18, 2013
Bottle (with best regards to Rian!)Pale golden, hazy, small (off-)white head, lemon-juice, green apples in the tart, pretty Gueuze-like nose; solid dry sour and bitter flavour, not too dry, light bodied but not watery at all; lingering dry citrussy finish with hints of Brett in the finish. A great east-german Gueuze…

(Test vom 28.6.2007) --> 12,10,9,10,15,14 - 11,90

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 12, 2014
courtesy of fiulijn, 4% - pretty clear yellow-blond beer with absolutely no foam; sulphury and lactic aroma, citric; thin-bodied, pretty acidic, very dry, tart and citric, lactic aftertaste - fresh and decently complex; charming

ElDesmadre (3626) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 16, 2015
Draught at the brewpub. Slightly sulfury but that only suits its lactic taste. Light, crisp, aromatic. Decidedly lactic though not as sour as a berliner weisse. Really nice aftertaste of sour milk and just a pinch of hops. A complementary bonfire smoked note, on the verge of perception. Well, this is a very good sour beer. Sour enough, not over the top and very aromatic. Thumbs up.

fiammanghilla (972) - Genova, ITALY - SEP 29, 2015
Spina @ scurreria. Chiara lattica con bella schiuma. Al naso parmigiano quasi fastidioso. Acidità lattica contenuta, fresca e beverina, affumicato che quasi non si sente

Bottle, thanks bartlebier! Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is lacto, cheesy, urine cake, citrus. Taste is cheesy, lacto, citrus, wheat. Not as aggressive as many Berliner Weiße. Medium carbonation.

bierkoning (13201) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2008
Bottle with former DDR label, from Der Doppelbock. Pale blonde, cloudy. Citrus, traubenzucker, chalk, salt and some flowery hops in the aroma. Salty flavor, sour with citrusfruit, especially lemon. IMO a mix of a Gose and a Berliner Weisse. Very tasty and likeable, in fact excellent!

nimbleprop (8278) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 14, 2009
2005 vintage shared at the DC Local tasting. Pours a hazy, bright yellow with a lacing, fizzy white head. Nose is awesome: tart, lemons, funk, earthy, wheat, grass. Flavor is puckering, tart, lemons, grass, funk. Heavy carbonation. Refreshing and spritzy. This was very nice, an exceptional berliner weisse. A favorite of those at the tasting.
