COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Gulo Gulo, but smaller! A brewer favorite, this beer required every bit of our team’s knowledge and experience with lower-alcohol/high hoppiness brewing. Oliver worked hard to pick the right barleys to lend the foundation for the fruity, citrusy American hops that are packed in to this lager. With its distinct flavors and aromas of pear, coupled with its eager to please bitterness, this beer is our one of kind celebration of springtime.

Pour on tap, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, grass, slight orange peel into a bit of pine. Taste was a mix of grass, earth, spice into a bit of yeast, slight orange, pine, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry.

Tap at Wolverine. Aroma of grapefruit and pine with light sweet malt. Tastes like a fruit honey cereal with pine and citrus peel. Medium body. Very nice.

"this one has a kick. it’s actually a little too much (bitter) for me, which i didn’t know could be so...but there’s little malt balance, so the finish becomes overly tart. a little more balance, and this could be a very good pale (same w/the ipa)"

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2013 Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice grassy hoppiness with a slight pine with an underlying crisp lager yeast. Flavor has a nice light pine note with some sweet grains backing and a nice crisp lager yeast note.

On tap at The Shark Club. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Earthy, some pine, grains, and a trace of citrus.
