A very clean hop flavor. Really good I thought. Refreshing all around beer. Good stuff. Very drinkable.
Rich amber color. Modest head and aroma. Taste was a fine blend of several hops and a sweetest malt background. 65 IBUs kicked it up to range of many IPAs. jgb9348 (6394) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 26, 2017
Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a copper glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light grass, malt, earth and a good deal of light grassy and citrus hops alongside some toffee and caramelisd sugars. Medium-bodied; Assertive hop flavours up front of grass, pine and herbs, all with a nice malt backbone with some noticeable lager yeast and a dry finish. Aftertaste shows a bit of earth, some strong floral elements, toffee, sugars and quite a bit of residual hoppiness and bitter flavours. Overall, a nice Lager with a ton of hoppiness and a good robust beer that would be good for any style, but also full of flavour. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 24-July-2015 for US$2,19 sampled at home in Washington on 25-January-2017. Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear amber brew with tan head that settles quickly. Good lacing. Aroma of of earthy resin leavened with lighter citrus, tart fruit and spice. Agile with some earthy cheesy notes. Taste starts with a clearly lager malt base with emerging resin and pine. Lighter hops notes emerge at the end to finish with a crisp but hoppy finish. Typically I am not a fan of IPL’s but this one stands out. Maakun (6170) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2016
Tap at Cece’s Detroit. Clear dark golden with white head. Very strong hops up front with lots of grass, lime, green leaves, berry skins, some apricot. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bitter with soft carbonation. Quite nice. markas101 (2482) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - SEP 1, 2015
Tap, The Beer Grotto, Ann Arbor, MI, USA. Hazy honey appearance. Some funky celery and pine resin. More vegetable flavour, long sweet pepper finish.

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape and hint of caramel, Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, citrus and grape finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap. It’s a lightly hazy dark golden beer topped by a small off-white head. The aroma is peachy and tropical fruity, with hints of pale malts in the back. It has a soft bitterness on the palate, it’s full bodied and softly carbonated, with a light malty touch as a backdrop for the fruity hops. Lasting fruity and light bitter finish. Quite nice this one. Easy drinkable and tasteful. 150615 pmperreca (1) - - JUN 14, 2015 does not count
Great beer for ioa fans who want something for a summer drink but still want a choppy taste mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 12, 2015
Well Honesty a little too strong in a kind of syrupy way. Kind of chafy. Not terrible. Just a solid IPL...

Tap @ Wolverine State: Light copper color with good clarity, almost no haze at all. Soapy, eggshell cap fades quickly but foams up nicely when the glass is swirled. Aroma is earthy, deep-rooted with grassy & muddled hops. Semi-pungent, edging on piney without being abrasive. Biscuit malts, light caramel, & some faint perfume. Flavor is balanced nicely, too. Shows more of a citric side to the hops. Semisweet caramel malt, orange rind, grapefruit, moderately pungent hop oil, freshly cut grass, & herbaceous spice. Pine & bitter citrus in the finish with a bit of leftover caramel & toasted malts. Crisp, snappy mouth feel, relatively light bodied & wet. Pretty nice.
