Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with white head. A fruity, fullish, malty beer with a developing bitterness later on. Some woody notes with a sloe type background fruity flavour. It’s ok.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Craft Beer Co, London on 21st September 2012. Hazy copper with thin white foam and partial lacing. Fruity, zesty aroma. Tangy lemon citrus in a fruity liquid, with berries and apples. Musty, "bookcase" note late before bittersweet and slightly sour finish. Interesting ale, though not quite a favourite.
