Bottle. Head is initially very small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is notes of artificial candied/caramel apple, incense / scented candle / perfume / Dial soap, raw wood. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, unclean. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly astringent. What the hell is this stuff? The smell is almost not even food/beverage-like, it’s more like a scented candle. The icky, cartoony kind, the ones that Yankee Candle Co. sells. Bizarre and quite unpleasant.

12oz bottle. Pours golden brown. Aroma and flavor are artificial vanilla. Almost like Vanilla Coke, not good.

Voodoo (702) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 30, 2017
Pours a clear copper.....aroma of oak, vanilla, touch of booze......taste sort of turns the bourbon flavor inside out, the apple gives the bourbon a wood and vanilla raisin flavor. Interesting.

12oz bottle picked up at Total Wine in Spokane
Pours crystal clear copper with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of vanilla, woody and apples. Flavor of oak, vanilla and bourbon, tart, dry finish

Pours a brunt orange with no head. Aroma of sweet apples and booze, like someone poured malt liquor into apple juice. Very sweet boozy honey taste to start with a tart apple finish. Leaves a strange after taste.

I don’t know what I expected but it was not this. It didn’t test bad but I was not impressed by the unexpected taste from a cider. ’t had a very meady, honey taste to it. Not pleasant at all. No vinegary or lingering after taste, so there was that going for it.

Not bad. This cider has a sweet apple flavor, a little tart. Lots of barrel, smoke, bourbon flavors. Very different than the other ciders I’ve had from Woodchuck.

Light golden pour with no head. Smells like apples and cinnamon and some light bourbon. Flavor allows the bourbon to shine and the apples take a back seat. Easily drinkable - it isn’t boozy. Lots of cinnamon in flavor. Like an alcoholic apple pie. Unfortunately it’s a bit too sweet like a pie - brown sugar, etc.

I did not expect to like this but I found it quite nice. Not too expensive yet it tastes rich but not overwhelming.

Bottle. Wood, apple juice, and straw aroma. Golden yellow. Oak, bourbon, apple cider, and hay flavor.

pushkinwow (2895) - Ottawa, CANADA - AUG 27, 2015
On tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill, barrel 14. Light copper with no head. Very sweet, strong bourbon, oak and vanilla, lots of maple, apples and cider characteristics are overwhelmed until the finish, toffee, mild carbonation and sweet, bold flavour.
