Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Pale green/yellow color with no head. Apple aroma, spicy notes, some ginger, grassy, pear, some mandarin. Sweetish apple flavor, ginger notes, pear, grapes, orange, grassy notes.

Bottle @ home. Confession: I "bought this for my girlfriend" but really it was for me. Light straw pour with a fizzy, short lived white head. Smells of candied ginger and apple juice...pretty much what you’d expect. Hints of pear and citrus. Flavor is on the sweet side with a strong apple character and more candy than ginger. Still, a half decent spiciness of ginger. Slightly woody and herbal.

bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Bomber from a Safeway as Woodchuck Cellar Series Ginger (6.9%). Pours perry color with a few bubbles. Very light ginger over mild cider for aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is clean, mild ginger, and a cider that is not too much "skin". Quite drinkable. More ginger wouldn’t hurt.

Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 1, 2012
12n ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin frothy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of sweet apples and faint ginger. The taste is strong ginger with a grainy apple finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

Bottle - free tasting at Bert’s Better Beers in Hooksett, NH. Very pale yellow pour. Nice ginger element to balance out the tart apple. Cool beverage.

On hand at Denver Summer Brew Fest 2012. Clear colorless with a sharp note of dry apples and ginger. Taste was the same with a nice balanced apple tone with an exotic ginger backbone. Very pleasant.

Pour out of bottle at Art and Ale, clear orange with white head, aroma brought notes of garbage and baby diaper, I kid you not, some slight ginger, apple comes in but its very odd and not appealing. Taste is much better, some nice snappy ginger with hints of apple and caramel, finishing fairly sweet.

Draft. Pours light and clear almost, with no head. Ginger, juicy apples, appropriate sweetness, and medium carbonation. Works well.

drowland (8758) - Georgia, USA - JUN 22, 2012
6/22/12. 12oz bottle. Super clear light goldenish pour... verrrrrry light color, with no head at all and no lacing. The aroma is sweet apple juice and a bit of yeast all the way, with a certain herbal bite that eventually shows itself as ginger. The flavor is sweet apple juice with a definite almost Asian ginger bite. Not spicy by any means, but it’s definitely there on top of the yeast and an almost bubblegum aspect. Meh.
