Bottle. Clear, lightly bubbly gold with a fine, creamy head. Cereal, corn and grain nose, with some floral hops. Lightly sweet, more grains and faint bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine, creamy carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean, malty with plenty of cereal, light toast, faint earth and flowers. Really a nice beer. johndoughty (5472) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2008
Bottle. Golden, thin and with a disappointing body.Pretty uninspiring especially as their other brews have tried were quite interesting. kappldav123 (6110) - GERMANY - OCT 22, 2012
Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest smokey, fine malty. Mild, but not washy. Finish less smokey, a bit wheaty. Quite drinkable. Nice! omikr0n (929) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 17, 2013
Bottle, brewed by Žatecký pivovar. Pours clear light golden with barely any head. Aroma is malty with hints of honey and grass. Flavor is more on the sweet side, being quite malty with hint of hops. Very simple but also quite enjoyable lager. jmgreenuk (9530) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a clear light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malty hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery hop dry malt palate. Not a bad session ale actually.

Bottle(donated by Quack-Duck!): A bit unclear, small white foamy layer, faint traces of spicy (Sladek?) hops ober a bready-malty base; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite gentle MF, pretty light bodied; lingering aromatic hoppy and bitter finish, balanced by distinctive traces of sweet pale malt. Nice Bohemian Pilsener, brewed by Žatecký pivovar (Saaz brewery) in the Czech Republic, as indicated on the label…
