Pours bronze rather than gold. Unpleasant aroma, kind of earthy smell. However the taste is good, orange zest, lemongrass, samphire and malty . Dry on the palate despite low abv. Good overall session beer

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, butterscotch, some nuttiness, fruit, slight honey, subtle diacetyl and grassy hops. Taste of bready malts, orange, some fruit, slight butterscotch, a little nuttiness and grassy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, bittersweet, nutty, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Tastes a lot different than it smells, it’s sweet, malty and slightly fruity. Thin but drinkable.

Sweet malt aroma, , very light mouthfeel, and quite a malty finish , doesn’t taste quite right

DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2015
About as gold as a 1974 2 pence piece. Odd copper limned with off white. Might be the wrong colour but it’s a decent bitter with a soft milky mocha-dunked biscuit linger and suspicions of chestnut and hedgerow fruit. Nose of pecan, washy granulated coffee, grilled vegetables and caramel. Long, cashew-like Hobnob biscuit afters. Pleasant. Bottle from Lidl.
