Bottle. Deep amber in colour. Fruity (citrus-orange, berries). Hoppy (grassy & earthy hops). Caramel malty base. Alcohol quite noticeable. Initially sweet fruity, but then dominated by bitter hops through to the finish. Did not like it. Not for me. (2008)

Hand pull cask at the Olde Sun, St Neots. Light golden brown, slightly cloudy. A reasonable amount of natural carbonation leaves an off-white ring of head around the beer. Light aroma of cereal, tangerine peel and white grape. I expected it to taste sweeter. Instead it is dominated by a somewhat harsh bitter-sour with citrus overtones.body is medium to thick. Flatter mouthfeel than the appearance would suggest. Good but surprisingly little character for the ABV.

Cunningham (8526) - Halden, NORWAY - JUL 7, 2015
Appearance: Cloudy dark orange golden color with a fine thick white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, some spices, mild citric and fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, some spices, citric and banana .
Overall impression: Tasty and fine sipper.
Personal stats: Bottle from Beers of Europe.

At last the final English county!

kerenmk (5357) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 23, 2015
Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Grumbo. Hazy amber, white ring. Sweet malty aroma with some burnt fruit, sweet and malty taste, then soft bitterness. Soft carbonation, medium body, some honey finish.

tomer (3845) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAY 3, 2015
At a tasting, thanks, no head, lightish hazy orange color, aroma of lemon popsicle, banana and paper, fruity flavor with hint of bread, and maybe tobbaco, strong bitterness, a bit of alcohol, just a touch too sweet but still easy to drink though not too interesting.

berkshirejohn (6760) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2015
50cl bottle from Wroxham Barns. A golden amber call with some light carbonation and a fast fading white head; sweet grainy aroma; grainy body with some tropical fruit and warming alcohol. Definitely something to sip slowly.

allmyvinyl (11178) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 24, 2015
500ml bottle shared with jeevan & ashton mccobb. Pours golden, light haze. Aromas of higher fusel alcohols, almonds, malt. This whole thing is pointless.

AshtonMcCobb (7027) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 24, 2015
Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - bright amber with a decent head. Nose - orange and lightly floral. Taste - burnt orange, tangy orange finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - these days it’s an English Strong Ale.

Dark gold / very light copper colour with a thin white head that doesn’t persist long. A spicy and piney herbal hop aroma with soft honey and apricot sweetness and malt. Taste is sweet. Fruity sweet. Apricot and honey again. Soft smooth taste of plums and biscuit too. Pulls of its strength very well. Finishes without the medicine and pear touch that is very typical of many examples of the style which is massively to its credit. All in all pretty damn good. Would not say it reinvented the wheel but I’d definitely recommend it.
