29 Jan 2013: along side in Huatulco, Mexico. The sea and Modelo beers on the beach had kept me cool during the day, now back on board I needed something different. The 500ml bottle conditioned brewhad been with me since Southampton and had patiently waited in my fridge until thisday.
Poured slowly into two tumblers it showed a good looking amber body with a full white head.
Fruity, hoppy and with a mild citrus hint throughout the tasing. Really enjoyed it’s flavours and although not as malty as I normally prefer, this was a good blend and well made. The body depth suited it too.

Bottle as M&S Norfolk Bitter. Pours dark copper with a creamy off-white head. NIce bitter and malty aroma.Seems floral bitter. Med body. Flavor is roast malt with a good dose of hop - which still seems floral. Finish is clearly bitter. It’s a tasty ale.

500ml bottle from Mark and Spencer. Hazy orange colour. Fruity aroma. Taste really really bitter but the date was pasted. Average. I will try it again to be sure. SarkyNorthener (4621) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2013
Bottle conditioned. Amber colour with small residual head. Aroma of malts. Taste is sweetish malts, dry hops and dried fruits, maybe sultanas. Medium bodied. Martin243 (1159) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2012
500 ml bottle cool, poured into an English pint. Clear amber with an off-white head. Not much aroma detectable, but I don’t think I’m that good with aroma: What there is for me is faintly toffeeish. More toffee in the flavour, with dried fruit, and a floral hop note. Medium bodied with a bitter finish. I only bought this because it was the easiest way to tick "Norfolk" off my "Countryside" award stats, but I’m glad I did: Much better than expected! I really liked the floral hops. jamesie1857 (2150) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2012
500ml bottle - Pours dark copper with little head. On the nose there is some caramel malt and citrus hops. Sweet at first and then the bitter yeast hop feel come right afterward. Earthy. Dry finish. okay for a session, but nothing special. Desverger (11455) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2012
(500ml bottle aka M & S Norfolk Bitter) Amber in colour, minimal head and lacing. Medium in body, aroma of malt/hops. Taste is malt/hops/yeast/grass caramel. Ok, but nothing special.
