Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Copper-amber with a creamy head. Relatively smooth tasting bitter with an underlying malty-sweetness, and a red berry fruitiness. Has a bitterness.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, mild fine carbonation. Light malts with a light but odd woody vibe. Floralness runs throughout. Little spice and bubblegum ester. Light citrus. Light finish. A little odd but fine.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy off-white head. The nose has lightly toasted pale malts, some buttered biscuits, vague citrus. Medium sweet flavor with nips of butterscotch, toffee, doughy bread, almost not bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more doughy bread, light toffee, buttery biscuits, faint hay. A tasty ESB, overall.

Cask, The Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Hazy golden brown with a bubbly head. Toffee and weetabix with raisins and stewed fruits. Bit of a mishmash. Slightly piney bitterness on the finish. Woody and yeasty characteristics. Some herbal notes with oranges. Decent English IPA, if a bit messy.
