Fruity verging on being a little bit tart. Not much character and slightly weak palate but perfectly acceptable session beer.

Cask Pint in Lowestoft in Sept 2016 - Amber colour. Fruity. Medium sweet malts with flowery fruity hops. Good malt/hop balance. Bittersweet fruity finish. (2016-09)

Clear amber bitter, lively with a thick white head. Not much by way of aroma, good or bad. Just a light bitterness. Flavour has a bit of light malt, apple, some bitter hop. Quite a clean aftertaste. A bit of fruity hop. Nothing special but a crisp, refreshing bitter.

Pale pour, not much on the nose. Perhaps a dud bottle but overwhelming carbonation leading to an odd mouth feel. Taste is bitter but weak. Perhaps better on a baking hot day.

From cask at the Old Mariner, Woodbridge. Pours golden with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of light hop, floral and fruity notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, slight sticky texture. A nice session bitter, especially served straight from cask.

Sampled on draught at The Mitre in Hatton Garden, London. A pleasant fairly standard bitter, with some caramel in the malt taste and earthy English hops. Some grassiness making for a refreshing and easy-drinking pint.

Draught. Pale amber with a pleasant aroma of new mown hay. A very typical bitter which in all fairness could be one of a thousand ordinaries.

Woodfords Wherry is a decent session bitter. Unfortunately its often badly kept. Here at the murderers it was well kept though. Nice sharp bitter ale. Unfortunately some of the malts show through at the end and not in a good way!

On cask at Haymarket bar. Clear gold, fluffy white head. Nose of honey, tangy orange, cough drops. Taste is dry, sweetness round the edges.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - a mixture of floral, lemon and honey. Light fudge in fact. Taste - more of the same. Lemon early doors with the fudge closing it out. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - interesting bitter but more interesting than good.

At nascot arms on cask, pours a clear amber color with a tan head. The smell is toasted grain, mild caramel, grass, a bit of fruit. The taste follows the nose closely with a dry finish. The body is light with fine carbonation.
