brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 12, 2014
On tap @ Woodfour. Milky straw pour with a white head. Aromas of apple and peach with some cracker and bready malt. A touch of banana and some citrus zests. Flavor has a slight lemony tang to it. Kind of yeasty and a bit on the doughy side. Fair amount of apple and peach. Maybe some pear and bread. Okay, I suppose.

joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - NOV 1, 2014
On tap at the brewery. This may be a new version of this beer since the menu says it’s 5.4% ABV. It pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is straw, grass and light funk with a little dried fruit and noble hop. The flavor is a bit soapy with minerals and touches of grapefruit and funk near the finish. Very dry. Not bad, but the soapy flavors are throwing it a bit off for me. Very much a rustic, farmhouse beer though which I like.

bhensonb (15758) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Firkin at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. So much hop in the firkin it clogged the spigot for a bit. Pours hazy gold with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mild sour citrus. Med body. Flavor is delicious; mildly sour citrus, maybe some grass. Very fresh and tasty. Even seems a bit woody (firkin was aluminum). Really nice.
