Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy chocolate with dark grains and light roasted malts. Flavor has a combination of chocolate and earthy sweet dark grains and a bit of roasted malts backing.

22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a dark brown with a velvety head of beige foam. The aroma is like a musky milk chocolate. Earthy and a bit sweet. Big chocolate notes. I get a lot of coco powder character. Thicker mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.

Location: 22 oz bottle obtained through Tavour Appearance: Dark brown opaque. Huge fluffy milk chocolate head of small bubbles Nose: milk chocolate. Caramel. Deeply roasted malts. Taste: Richly roasted malt forward. Big sweet milky chocolate. Body: Silky smooth and full. Parting thoughts: a very nice stout. Crazy foam. Had to wait for it to go down three times before I could complete the pour.

reddish mid brown pour aroma whiskey, berries wood, cocoa. Tastes cinnamon, light grains, very slight smooth lactose. Tastes big chocolate, soy, creamy caramel. Hits right on the ideal amount of lactose; not too sweet but noticeable.

750 ml bottle from Uptown. Pours a clear chestnut color with a large beige head. A big sweet cocoa and toast nose. Very sweet, caramel, cocoa, some toast, a dry finish. Needs some roast if it’s gonna be this big, a bit under attenuated. Overall, this is a solid beer. Drinkable.

A nice milk stout overall. Pours a deep black with a thin tan head. Smells of cocoa, marshmallow and cinnamon. Taste has lots of cocoa, some bitter chocolate, cinnamon and milk in the finish. Sweet aftertaste. Had in the bottle.

Bottle, picked up at the Co-op a while back. Nice wax color and easy to cut right off with a paring knife. Pours a deep brown color with a small brown head that quickly becomes just a brown ring. The nose is rich with the anticipated milk stout smells, full of cocoa and mocha. Very inviting. Coffee comes forth in the taste; a very fresh and definitely emphasized. Subtle cocoa notes. Gets a little roasty on the backend, but still centered on the sweet stout style. Silky and creamy texture is just right to style. 10% ABV / 2015 vintage.
