Bottle, in a surprise package from Ferris! Very hazy yellow body, with a big white head. Big capsicum/green coffee character, soft Belgian yeast undertones. interesting.

Bottle - Green pepper and coffee. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Nice soft coffee and peppery saison. Weirdly good.

On tap at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out nice coffee grounds and Belgian yeast. Flavour brings out bitter coffee grounds and Belgian yeast nicely balanced. Surprisingly nice. Spicy, coffee finish. Very nice.

16.9 oz bottle from a gas station somewhere in southern Idaho on the way back from Boise yesterday. Aroma is a tad skunky, some banana, dough, chalky candy, green pepper; coffee doesn’t come out until the glass warms up a bit. Pours slightly hazy golden with a long-sustaining white head. Taste is full of Belgian yeast character with an added coffee element that surprisingly work really well together. Mouthfeel is champagne-level foamy and a bit watery. Nice beer, overall.

Bottle, opened to the smell of Thai peanut sauce filling the air… a murky gold pour with a large white head. As it settles the nose changes a bit to coffee, a little on the green side, and some farmyard yeast. The taste is different… as I expected it might be. The coffee gives of a little bitterness and again it seems green. Green bell pepper comes to mind. The yeast lies in the background a little earthy too. I enjoyed this more as it warmed up, it’s different, but fun to try.

A decent saison, a bit different. Pours a cloudy yellow with a soapy white head. Smells of saison, an earthiness, strawberries and a hint of coffee. Taste has a coffee background throughout, but more strawberries and earth up front. Carbonated finish. Had in the bottle.

Bottle share at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. Definitely not getting any coffee notes here... instead getting some seriously briny, herbal, savory, olive-y digestives. A dinner stew and I’ll take it.

thanks for the share, first time hearing of this brewery. Tasty stuff moderate to light coffee, light saison flavors, some apple and banana in there. Plays well with the coffee.

Thanks to johngalt. Pours a hazed gold with a white head. I’ll tell you what, the coffee in this must be incredible. A great added component to what seems a great saison. Smooth coffee notes, earthy saison flavors. Winner.
